digital skills questionnaire

In recent years, healthcare and social care systems across Europe have been heading toward digital transformation. The recent pandemic has speeded up the processes of adaptation of mHealth solutions, and implementation of digital tools in many healthcare (HC) and social care (SC) areas, but it also uncovered several obstacles that exist on the demand side of it – including gaps in overall digital competencies and specific eHealth knowledge among healthcare and social care professionals.

The e4care consortium has created an online survey with the aim of assessing the current state of digital competencies among HC&SC professionals and students. The questionnaire presents a set of introductory questions, as well as a list of digital competencies categorized (according to the DigComp framework and the e4CARE project consortium needs analysis based on research of the digital competencies required for the use of digital tools) into five groups: (1) information and data literacy; (2) communication and collaboration; (3) digital content creation; (4) safety; (5) problem-solving.
